MEMORIAL ROOM OF IVANA BRLIĆ MAŽURANIĆ
The Memorial Room of Ivana Brlić Mažuranić represents an exhibition area comprising the copies of original photographs and documents which bear witness of the life and work of this writer who was born in Ogulin.
The memorial room was created on 18 April 1974, on the birthday of Ivana Brlić Mažuranić, and was arranged by the writer Dr. Sc. Nedjeljko Mihanović and the academic painter Srećko Pavlinić, on the initiative and idea put forward by the writer Dragutin Tadijanović.
Since the original arrangement of the exhibition dedicated to this author, there have been no major changes or additions to the collection. In 2007, the thematic, i.e. costumed guidance was introduced in the memorial room, primarily intended for younger school groups, i.e. for the children up to 10 years of age (4th grade of primary school). Unfortunately, due to COVID-19 pandemic, this programme was temporarily suspended.
